I recently received the cupcakes shape template from head office. Which is available at wholesalers now.
I had a look at the packaging. Undid it and had a look at the template..... And instantly saw Santa amongst the Cupcakes!!!
No wonder he's a big fellow! lol
Here are the tools you will need to make the Cupcake Santa:
Fiskars Cupcake template and Ultra shape express.
Fiskars 1/8" hand punch.
Fiskars Sunburst boarder punch.
Fiskars Soft touch scissors.
Here are the shapes to cut out from the template:
x2 icing top - one in red and one in white (beard and hat)
Cupcake plain bottom - in skin colour (face)
Circle - in white (hat pom pom)
Wave shape - in white (hat brim)
candle flame - in skin colour (nose)
Curve - in red (mouth)
Oval - 2 in white (mustache)
Punch out 2 of the sunburst boarder punch - in white (eyes and lashes)
2 of 1/8" hand circle punch - in black (pupils)
Assemble as in above picture.
Using a sponge and a pinkish colour for his cheeks.
Thanks for looking.
I wonder what else I can find amongst those cupcakes......

Creating Cards this year was made easy for me using the fabulous Fiskars Stamp Factory!
All I had to do was load up the four different stamps 1)Christmas Tree 2) Holly 3) asterick 4) sentiment onto the acrylic plate and put in my black ink pad........and then away I went stamping up a few of these cards.....with the Stamp Factory self-inking it made it very easy to do....and no mess....which is a bonus for me....as I'm a messy crafter.....LOL!
So easy to whip up numerous cards in a few minutes with this fabulous Stamping Tool.
Next I added some Kaisercraft Bling and coloured in with fine pens and then punched out a star using my Fiskars 1" Star Squeeze punch.....so easy to put together....and I might add it was fun!
So why not give it a go......if you have a Stamp Factory....making Christmas Cards this year will be a breeze.......you could even have a card making day with some friends and all craft together.....such fun!
Haven't got a Stamp Factory.....then perhaps use a Fiskars Stamp Press or Fiskars Acrylic Stamp Blocks.
Back in a few days with some more cards........ooh I wonder who is sharing a Card tomorrow.....make sure you pop back in for a look see!

and i am just in by the skin of my teeth!!
Hasn't it been a great challenge - thanks Lianne for pushing us all outside our comfort zone, fantastic to see so many inspiring entries in also from you guys :0) Don't forget you still have till midnight tonight to get your entries in.
So my meal was:
81/2 x 11 layout
pink, orange, aqua
cardboard
paint
4 patterend papers
plain cardstock.
As ambassadors, we are all really excited with the new templates Fiskars have released, available at wholesalers now. The "Woodland" template has the tree, the bird and the clouds that you can see in the layout. (As well as a whole heap of other shapes) For the little birds wings, i just used the bits of the tree that i cut off the lefthand edge of the layout, doubled them up - perfect, didn't even have to cut to size ;0).
The journalling semicircle is actually one of the flaps that have been cut off the envelope template, another newbie that you will see get a workout on here over the next couple of months!!
The circle scallop and little may flowers squeeze punches have made quick work out of producing lots of flower embellishments while the trustee old circle squeeze punch guides us up to what Miss Paris is thinking!! ;0)
Thats it from me, i know the other guys are working on projects using the new products, i will have 2 more projects coming using the tree in a totally different way also, so be sure to drop by daily to see whats happening.
bfn
Annette :0)
oops edited to say: the border on the right hand side is another newbie!! Its the corner/border punch "Framed in Love" PRETTY!!!

My Menu was
card
Using red, black & white colours
Cardboard and Paint
2 different patterned papers.
Plain cardstock is an optional extra.
The paint may be a little hard to see, I used white puff paint for the centres of the flowers, and the black and white patterned papers tend to be a little grey in the photo.
I used my Fiskars:- Shapecutter for the oval Small star punch for the stars and 12" Rotary paper trimmer
Thankyou I enjoyed this meal very much
Regards
Jill Thornton

Here's what Robyn had to say......
HI Lianne here is my meal ...... I had to create a card
Using green, blue & yellow colours
Stitching & buttons
only 1 patterned paper
Plain cardstock is an optional extra.
I sorta stuck to the meal and created this ........I used my Fiskars 12' Trimmer to cut my cardstock, punched a border using my Fiskars Apron Lace border punch...added a Cloud 9 Woodstone sentiment sticker (these have been in my stash for a long time) and I came up with this thank you Lianne and Fiskars for the inspiration to create this card.
I am loving what everyone is creating this month using the menu
regards Robyn W

November is almost over and I am one of the last to show the meal that I ordered from Lianne
So I ordered - Garlic Bread, Baked Lemon fish, tossed salad & Cheesecake to finish
And got my order back - 12 x 12 LO, using red, black & white colours, fabric & buttons, 4 different patterned papers, plain cardstock optional extra....and this is what I came up with....
Have to confess didn't have any fabric that worked on hand, so used ribbon through the large button instead, and sneaked in a few rub ons.....
Loved playing with the new punch that Fiskars had sent me last week - Lace & Lattice combo border punch (apparently available to Wholesalers now!!!).... Here's a close up shot....
Lovely little size and fantastic that I can go around corners....will be seeing this punch appear on plenty more layouts in the future as I love scallops of any kind and this is a mini one and so cute!!!! Love Love Love it...
Thanks for looking....

Hi everyone,
Well it's that time of the year when we start thinking about Christmas and if you are like me you start thinking about getting your Christmas Cards out as soon as you can. Sometimes life gets in the way though and although we have good intentions to create some "Handmade Cards" we may put off making them until the last minute.........so to help inspire some creativity this year with your cards.......we are going to be sharing A Card A Day all the month of December.
As well as Christmas Cards.......the Ambassadors and Demonstrators shall be also sharing Other Occasion Cards to help inspire you to create some of your own. I've had a sneak peek at what the girls have done already behind the scenes here.......and they are amazing!!
So make sure you pop back in each day .....starts Tuesday December 1st........there shall also be some other Christmas Projects being shared.......
xoxo

Being someone that travels quite a bit, I always appreciate gifts that help me packing a lot easier. My roomate works for an airline and flies quite frequently so I created this little pouch with toiletries as a gift... but would love to keep it for myself! Including travel sized shampoo, conditioner, sunscreen, and toothpaste, I know she'll appreciate just being able to throw this gift into her suitcase. I also sewed a little pocket to hold onto any other essentials she may need to pack. Use your Fiskars tools to help create this gift for someone who is always on the go!

Instructions (Print version)

1. Use Fiskars acrylic ruler and Fiskars Fabric Rotary Cutter to cut two 6x14 pieces of fabric and one 6x14 piece of cotton interface. Press the fabric. Use Fiskars Pinking Fabric Shears to cut 1.5x14 and stitch onto front piece of fabric.
2. Lay Fiskars Brackets and Journals Shape Template onto fabric and trace label using a pencil. Cut out using Fiskars No. 8 Scissors. Lay Fiskars Heart Shape Template onto fabric and trace 1" heart using a pencil. Cut out with Fiskars No. 8 Scissors and applique onto fabric label. Applique label onto the front piece of fabric so that it is centered on the right side when the fabric is folded in half.
3. For the long pocket, use Fiskars Fabric Rotary Cutter to cut one 4.5x9 strip of fabric and press. Pin onto inside piece of fabric with the pattern side up. Add ribbon with fabric glue along the top of the pocket.

4. For the small pocket, cut one piece of fabric 4x6 for the pocket and one piece 3x6 for the flap. Trim the edge of the 3x6 with Fiskars Pinking Fabric Scissors and fold the left corners in to create a flap. Stitch the corners under then stitch the flap to the inside piece of fabric with the patterned side down. Pin the pocket onto the inside piece of fabric with the patterned side up.

5. Set the pieces down in this order: cotton interface, front piece of fabric with the patterned side up, inside piece of fabric with the patterned side down. Stitch together, leaving enough of a hole at the edge to pull the pouch right side out. Glue hole together using fabric glue. Measure the size of the toiletries bottles and stitch seams to create pockets for them. Add velcro.

I decided to create a different Christmas Wreath for our Front Door this year......and went to a more elegant design....after I was inspired by what Rhonda (Spotlight Bairnsdale) was doing on the recent VIP Spotlight Night that I attended.....so thanks Rhonda for the inspiration.....
I purchased all the materials in Spotlight:
1) foam ring
2) bridal white ribbons 1" and 2" and 1/4"
3) red butterlies
4) holly embellishments
5) poinsettia sprig
6) pins
The only tool I needed to use were my Fiskars Microtip Scissors to cut the ribbon! I also used some of the Martha Stewart liquid Adhesive...also from Spotlight!
Here's a close up....
and the BOW.....

It literally took me longer to decide on papers and tools than it did to put these bags together.
I had a lot of fun using the new Fiskars templates which are now available to be purchased from the Wholesalers. Hopefully these will appear in Australia and NZ stores soon because they are COOL!!
The Christmas shapes template is from last Christmas.
I used a bit of glittery paint to give them a festive feel and changed the canvas handals to ribbon.
Maybe they will be used for the teacher's gifts ... if they pass the kid's approval! (Those of you with a 12 year old son will understand that!).
I forgot to draw the birdies feet... must go do that.

As the holiday season approaches, we all like to pamper the loved ones in our lives. For many of my friends, pets are just as much a part of the family as children! So they shouldn’t miss out on the pampering, right? Use your Fiskars tools to create this fun stocking for all your pet’s favorite treats!

Instructions (Print version)
1. Create
a stocking out of fun foam – I simply googled “stocking template,”
found a shape that I liked, and printed it out. I saved myself a little
sewing by folding the foam in half & cutting around the shape using
Fiskars Softgrip No 8 Scissors
2. I then hand-stitched around the
edge of the stocking using embroidery floss (tip: the Fiskars 12-n-1
Sewing Multi tool has a handy needle threader!)
3. I created a cute
foam dog bone to decorate the front of the stocking. To make this, cut
2 hearts from foam. I used the Hearts Template and Fiskars Retractable
Fingertip Craft Knife. I attached each heart to the end of a strip of
foam.

4. To
tie a ribbon in the center of the dogbone, I simply punched two holes
using Fiskars ¼ inch Circle Hand Punch – it easily punches through
foam!
5. The simple tag was created by first trimming a base tag
from cardstock using Fiskars 12in Portable Trimmer. I added a
decorative touch to the bottom edge using Fiskars Apron Lace border
punch.

6. I then added a “no peeking” sticker, and a strip of patterned paper. Fiskars Furry Friends punch adds the finishing touch for a tag that’s perfect for your favorite pooch!

The challenge for Noel was to use:
red, black and white
12x12 LO
using flowers and felt
I just used my Fiskars trimmer for this one.
Dana’s challenge was for a:
6x12 layout
using brown orange and green
cardboard and paint
no patterned papers
My camera does not record the colours very well. The background cardstock is orange, the lower half cardstock is green with a brown cardstock on the left. The cardboard and paint is also on the lower half of the LO.
I also used Fiskars trimmer, the Fiskars corner punch and the Fiskars fingertip knife
Leanne Winter
* Thanks for sending these through Leanne.......love how Dana has punched out one corner!

We are tightening our belts this holiday season with the current economic climate, but that doesn't mean we can't still give gifts. Making gift certificates is a fun way to give something personalized from the heart. My husband and I agreed we wouldn't buy each other gifts this year, so I decided to make a coupon book full of little things I can do for him that don't cost a thing. My best friend gets a little crazy during the holidays, so I thought planning a day of pampering after the holidays would be a perfect way to spend time recuperating from the chaos!

Instructions (Print version)
Spa Gift Certificate:
By transforming a spare box I saved from some jewelry with some paint and clever shapes, I set the tone of a spa day by mimicking a facial with cucumber slices. The gift certificate inside is sparkly and beautiful thanks to creatively cutting up a stamped Zinnia Zing to uncover the "hidden" poinsettia inside.

1. Paint jewelry box white. Once dry, add a "slathering" of light blue paint. Set aside to dry fully.
2.
Trace two 2" circles using Circles-1 shape template onto dark green
cardstock. Cut out with scissors. Note: Cutting out with Ultra
ShapeXpress doesn't leave the circle large enough to mat the XL Round
'n Round punch. By cutting out traced circle by hand, this leaves you
a small matting for cucumber peel.
3. Punch two XL Round 'n Round circles using squeeze punch. Adhere centered onto dark green circles.
4. Punch several seeds from beige paper using Tear Drop hand punch. Adhere randomly onto cucumber slices. Adhere slices to top of box once dry.
5. Stamp two flowers from the Zinnia Zing stamp set with red ink on pink cardstock. Using scissors, cut out the smallest part of flower from one image and a larger portion from other image. Paint with glue and add translucent glitter. Once dry, adhere together and top with yellow gems.
6. Format text for gift certificate to fit inside box, being sure
to allow room for poinsettia and border punch. Print onto pink
cardstock. Tip: Be sure your measurements are in 1" increments to
allow for perfect alignment with corner border punch.
7. Punch around gift certificate with Snowbubbles corner border punch and adhere onto white cardstock.

8. Adhere poinsettia at left to complete gift certificate.

Coupon Book:
1. Trim green cardstock to 4-1/8" x 6-1/2".
2. Using scoring blade, score line at 4" from each short end. Fold to create coupon book cover.
3. Adhere blue and green papers centered onto cover and add letter stickers at bottom.
4.
Cut two antennae/bodies from Butterfly template, in brown and neutral
colors. Trim off "antlers" from brown shape and adhere over neutral.
Add googly eyes and button nose.

5. Punch circle using pop-up punch from neutral brown paper and
feed back into punch to punch off ear. Repeat for other ear and adhere
onto back of head. Adhere reindeer to cover.
6. Format coupons
into 3.75" x 6.25" rectangle leaving 1.75" blank at top for punch and
perforating. Print coupons onto assorted papers or thin cardstocks.
7. Trim coupons to size and run perforating line ½" from top and directly down center.

8. Add punch to each coupon and staple stack to back cover.

Hi everyone,
What a yummy meal I ordered...
Potato wedges
Garlic steak
roasted stuffed capsicums
Cheese cake
So I had to create a...
8x11
brown orange and green
stamping and brads
4 patterned papers.
I also wanted to include journalling on the page, but didn't have enough room. So I added a tag to the upper right hand side using some string. The tag will be easy to pull out and read once the page is inside my album.
I hope enjoy your meal as much as I have enjoyed mine.

I love to make my own Christmas Cards each year as it not only shows the recipient you care about them but it also is fun and works out quite cheap.....especially if you just use a few punches and stamps........
So this year....my cards shall all have "stamping" and "punching" on them......how about YOU! What are you planning on doing for your cards this year? Would love to know what others are planning on doing
Starting on December 1st we shall be running a Card a Day here on our Blog .....so plenty of inspiration to come to make your own Christmas Cards /Any occasion Cards this year ....as our TEAM of Fiskars Craft Ambassadors share their cards with you all.
xoxo

Last year to save myself a few dollars.. plus the fact that I love making my own gift tags and presents for everyone for Christmas I decided to pull out my Christmas stamps and have a play. This year I will be doing the same thing. Though things were a lot easier this year with the help of my Fiskars Stamp Factory and Fiskars Squeeze Punches. I was able to use A4 250gsm white cardstock available from Officeworks and my water colour pencils to create some fun tags that the kids were able to help with. I love getting the children involved in the whole process as it gets us all in the festive mood. My eldest daughter who is 12, was able to load up the stamp press with the images and stamp away without any mess or smudging. Then my son who is 6, was able to use the Fiskars Round and Round 2" squeeze punch to punch out the tags. Because he can see where he was punching he was able to centre them all perfectly. We then coloured the and added some bling and it was all done so quickly. Perfect exercise for the days when it as been so hot here in Adelaide too !
Here what they made:
Such a fun way to get your kids crafting too. Having such amazing tools too made it so much easier to get multiples made up so quickly.
Why not check out the amazing "Cutting the cost of Wrapping Competition" that is going on at the moment on the blog ! So easy to enter too !

The stamp factory is great for stamping up patterned papers as well as wrapping paper for the Christmas holidays.
I only still have black ink pad at the moment. So decided to put some coloured ink pads direct to paper first then stamp away....
I used Cloud9 "Christmas is" stamps (from last year)
And Fiskars "'Twas the night" (from last year)
The Fiskars Stamp Factory (available now at spotlight stores)
And some tissue paper I got from a shoe purchase.
This is what I ended up with....
Matching tags of course with the Ultra shape express and tag template. (spotlight and Wharehouse stationery stores)
I used the edge of the tag template for the To: From: section of the tag.
This was done very fast and very very simply. As my 2.5yr old son had 5 min in front of the tv.
Took me longer to pack up than to do the tags and stamp up the paper. lol
Love fast projects.

Well I asked for a second helping but didn't like the entree this time so in true form I just changed it to something more tasteful......LOL!
So my Entree was changed and that gave me the opportunity to finish off a Mini Album that I started way back earlier this year and was yet to complete.....you know...one of those UFO'S.......Can you relate to that.....LOL! I purchased this from Scrapbook Lady during the Bushfire Appeal Fundraiser Day in Feb.
So I had :
12 x 12 layout (changed to Mini Album)
red,white and black
pattern paper
card stock
ribbons and buttons ( changed this to brads)
So now I have a lovely Mini Album all ready to add this year's Christmas Family pics into...yeh!! Thanks to Lianne for this challenge or this would have been another UFO....
....and inside I used some of the freebie diecuts that came in the Kaisercraft mag....love this mag by the way......the only tool I really used was my pair of trusty Fiskars Softouch Scissors...love these so much!
It's not too late to enter this Month's Challenge just click on the link and place your order with Lianne!
We still have some more projects to come from the Ambassadors for this Challenge to help inspire you all to join in and get some scrapping done before the Festive Season sets in and we tend to do projects for others and maybe not ourselves.

With the birthday season here upon us in the Wallace household (October we had 2 kids, 1 niece,1 brother in law, and 1 Pops birthday) it can get quite busy with wrapping presents.. not to mention the cost that is involved with all that wrapping paper too !
My daughter decided this year to delay her party until the new vampire movie "New Moon" was out so she could take her friends to the movies for her birthday. We like to make up the goodie bags ourselves and each year look for some fun way to pack them. So we have been busy today making up little goodie boxes for the girls to take home with them when the leave after the sleep over. I had some cute little noodle boxes you can get really cheap from the $2 shop that were crying to be played with. Pulling out some bright Heidi Grace paper, bling and ribbon we set to work. Though the boxes weren't quite complete until we decided to play around with some stamps. Now normally I am not real keen on my kids using my stamps... mainly due to the fact you find ink in places that it really SHOULDN'T be afterwards! Though since having the Fiskars Stamp factory the kids are freely able to use the stamps. No messy ink everywhere and a clean stamp print every time ! I love that. Now I don't have to help them with the stamping.. they can do it all by themselves. I have even taught my daughter how to line it up using the Fiskars Craft mat so that she get the image in the same spot every time! Plus with having to do up large quantities of goodie boxes using the stamp factory saved so much time with being able to stamp multiples very quickly.
Here's our end results:
Off to ice the cake... mmmmm wonder how I couldn't use the stamp factory for that ??? lol.. perhaps to stamp little scalloped tags for each of the candles...

This time my menu was to create:
12x6 layout
Pink, orange, aqua
Stamping and brads
1 patt paper
opt - 1 plain cardstock
I opted to use my pp as the base and the optional plain C/S to stamp some of my images on, plus as a contrast border.
Fiskars Tools used:
Border punch
Ovals template for large scallop border
Ultra Shape Express
Scissors
Stamp Press
Circle punch
Stamped images using Fiskars stamps except Scribble Doodles which are Stampin Up. (I used colour pencils to add colour to the stamped images).
Cloud 9 Clear Sparkle Alpha Stickers
Heidi Grace Clear Sticker Expression
Loved this menu!! It took me out of my usual zone - I rarely use orange for some reason and I have only ever scrapped a 6 x 12 once before!
